Tonight I made these super healthy incredibly delicious and really easy "blender pancakes" that we can now pop out of the freezer and eat anytime. They are WONDERFUL! Since moving to the mid-west, we have noticed how much healthier everyone is and how much easier it is to be organic/all natural. We live around the corner from Trader Joes and Whole Foods (soon to be fav.'s) and it's actually pretty reasonably priced. We have been striving to move our diet completely that way (when possible). I've also made some fabulous green smoothies that the kids love and has a full days serving of protein and veggies! :)
By the way, aren't you proud Jen? Look how much I've blogged in the last couple of days. You must have been an inspiration to me :)

Winter Fun
Nap transition
I can confidently say that I believe we have finally transitioned to one nap! This was a looooong grueling process for us. It took us the entire month of December into January. There was about 2-3 weeks straight where they didn't nap AT ALL. Several different factors made this more difficult, including the fact that some of that time they were sick, Aiden all of a sudden became afraid of something in his room, and they REFUSED to split up to sleep so they would wake each other up. Those were the longest days ever, and I literally felt like I was going crazy trying to deal with overlytired 20 month old twins while they were just at the beginnings of pushing boundaries and learning how to obey. They were just beyond themselves, and not to mention it was the middle of winter and we couldn't go outside! (outside makes everything better :))I was on my knees constantly asking the Lord for wisdom and guidance. We also survived by making up errands to run, going to YMCA ALOT, and all going to bed exhausted at 6pm!So thankful that the Lord has granted us stability again (they are napping consistently 1-315ish!) and given me a little breather in the day!

Blessed day
Today I am so thankful for the Lord's sovereignty. After having to cancel/reschedule a haircut appointment several times due to sick children, unexpected circumstances, myself getting sick, ect. I finally made it last night. It was the first time I had been to this woman and we ended up getting into a spiritual conversation and I was able to share with her some of the things I believe. She may even visit my church! My heart feels so full today with gratitude. I'm thankful for divine appointments, for fun playdates with friends, for my wonderful husband, and for my log cabin (seminary's Parent's Morning Out) morning to run errands! What a blessed day!
