Overwhelmingly thankful
As I left my shower today, I was overwhelmed with gratitude. I am so thankful for the friends and family the Lord has surrounded us with to carry us through this time not only physically (w/ gifts, meals, ect.) but also emotionally and spiritually. You're prayers mean more than you'll ever know!!! I'm not really sure how people without a good support system make it! As the time approaches, and I am less and less capable of doing anything by myself (physically), the Lord continues to work through people to offer help and encouragement right when I need it. I'm so thankful for my wonderful husband, who is willing to wait on me hand and foot while I am unable to get up. Thank you so much to all my friends and family that contributed to our showers, showered us with blessings, helped me in the nursery, gave or lent us baby clothes, and brought us a meal! I want to especially thank Mirinda, LaJuan, Amy S., Jessica, Kim, Shay, Jenny, and my mom (my second rock:). We are so extremely grateful and the Lord has truly used you to help provide for us and the twins! Thank you.

The most amazing thing...
One of the most amazing experiences during my entire pregnancy has been being in Sunday morning worship, worshiping my creator, while feeling the kicks of two precious new creations inside of me. It is such a miracle for me to be pregnant at all, and I'm so thankful for the privilege to be able to actually feel our babies as I worship the One who has given them to us. It's truly indescribable.

jen's shower, putting the nursery together, and womens fellowship
The paint story- I went to Lowes to buy paint samples to be sure I had the right color, painted them on poster board, and put them on the wall. My helpers arrived at 830 Saturday morning and started painting. Instead of being sage green, it was neon mint choc chip! So Ben went at lunch to get a second color for the second coat. This one turned out blue seafoam green- it looked like a beach house. I tried to live w/ it but by 7 PM we all decided we hated it and went for coat number 3- again a different color! So 14 hours later, we got the nursery painted...
